Interview
Date

As part of its campaign, “This is my story, I am still human”, the Universal Coalition of Affirming Africans (UCAA) Uganda has launched this interview with Mrs Lilian Nsubuga, who is a welfare coordinator in the Anglican Church of Uganda. She is a lesbian mother and a mothers union leader at her local church. Like many other LGBTQ+ people in Uganda, Lilian was forced by societal, family and church pressure to get married to a heterosexual partner to fit in the society which is why she ended up being a mother. Lilian has some advise to LGBTQ+ people and parents too:

An LGBTQ+ person can be your brother or sister, your  relative, your child, or your fellow worshipper. ... Just support them!
