"Stories of Change" now published!

We are delighted to announce the publication of the book Stories of Change: Religious Leaders and LGBTIQ Inclusion in East Africa, which has just come out with ZED Books in London. Authored by David Kuria Mbote, Barbara Bompani, Adriaan van Klinken, and Damaris Parsitau, this book is a major outcome of work undertaken by the Sexuality and Religion Network in East Africa. Including the life stories of over twenty inspirational Kenyan and Ugandan Christian and Muslim leaders actively involved in struggles for LGBTIQ rights, the book shows how religious leaders in East African countries can be agents of progressive social change.
